Hi, I'm Lovisa Lind
— a 25 year old product designer based in Stockholm. So, who am I?
As a designer
Shape and color have been among my interests for a long time, as creative subjects have always been my strength. In high school, I discovered my passion for marketing when I was responsible for the visual aspects of creating a student-run business. After traveling and working for a few years after graduation, I began searching for my next passion. I knew I wanted to find the perfect balance between creativity and structure. By chance, I stumbled upon graphic design, and it immediately felt like the right path for me. I found a bachelor's program in Graphic Design & Communication, which offered a broad spectrum of creative opportunities, and I started my studies in the fall of 2022. Over time, my interest in branding and UX/UI design has grown significantly. I love how human-centered design leads to well-thought-out solutions. The combination of shape and color, along with the challenge of understanding different perspectives and finding creative solutions based on them, is both exciting and rewarding. Psychology is another subject that fascinates me — something I enjoy diving deep into. Being able to merge these two fields and develop solutions that simplify people's everyday lives is incredibly fulfilling.

As a person
When I'm not working on creative projects, I love spending my time traveling, focusing on health, and enjoying quality time with friends and family. I'm a curious person who enjoys learning through travel and new experiences. I thrive on putting myself in new situations. When I started university, I packed my bags and moved to Norrköping, just to experience a new city and meet new people. For me, it was all about stepping out of my comfort zone and seeing how things would unfold. Before starting my bachelor's degree, I lived in Porto, Portugal, for a semester to immerse myself in their culture and language. The country and the city now hold a special place in my heart, and I love traveling back there. Most recently, last fall, I went on an exchange to southern Germany to see how I would adapt to life there and learn about their culture and university system. There, I participated in a minor program called App Design & Development, where I took courses like Usability Engineering, Innovation Management, Interaction Design, and User Interface Design. This experience confirmed that this field is something I am truly passionate about. All these experiences have shaped who I am today: a positive and confident person who always strives to see situations from different perspectives. Beyond traveling, I'm passionate about health and well-being! My days are a mix of studies and hopping between various gym classes with my yoga mat in hand or lifting weights while listening to podcasts. For me, health isn't just about exercise—it's also about good food. I love cooking, eating, baking, and enjoying a good fika. Life is more enjoyable that way! I also love skincare, clothes, and beauty, and can sit for hours researching my next day cream or SPF. For me, it's the fun of trying new things out and seeing how they can improve my well-being as well as learning about the science behind it. Another important aspect of my life is friends and family. Social connections are some of the most important things to me, and investing energy in relationships that bring positive energy back is crucial. This also extends to my professional life. I strive to be a part of a team, and I believe it's essential to contribute supportive and uplifting energy to one another. That sums me up pretty well! If you're looking for a positive, curious, and self-driven designer to join your team, feel free to reach out, I'd love to connect!
